SUMMARY: This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief 
from specified requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations. The 
purpose of this notice is to improve the public's awareness of, and 
participation in, the FAA's exemption process. Neither publication of 
this notice nor the inclusion nor omission of information in the 
summary is intended to affect the legal status of the petition or its 
final disposition.

Petition for Exemption

    Petitioner: Wright Air Service.
    Section of 14 CFR Affected: Sec.  43.3(i).
    Description of Relief Sought: Wright Air Service, Inc. petitions 
for an exemption from Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Sec.  
43.3(i) to allow its trained cargo personnel to reconfigure the 
aircraft's seat configuration for the pilot, with the pilot providing a 
final verification of the installation and configuration prior to 
flight.
