Notice of Application of Transfer of License and Soliciting Comments,
Motions To Intervene, and Protests
On November 15, 2024, Southern California Edison Company
(transferor) and Fontana Union Water Company (transferee) filed an
application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or
Commission) to transfer the license for the 500-kilowatt Lytle Creek
Hydroelectric Project (Lytle Creek Project) No. 1932. The project is
located on Lytle Creek in San Bernardino County, California, and
occupies federal land within the San Bernardino National Forest.
Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. 801, the applicants seek Commission approval
to transfer the license for the Lytle Creek Project from the transferor
to the transferee. Upon approval, the transferee will be required by
the Commission to comply with all the requirements of the license.
