SUMMARY: This notice contains a summary of a petition seeking relief 
from specified requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations. The 
purpose of this notice is to improve the public's awareness of, and 
participation in, the FAA's exemption process. Neither publication of 
this notice nor the inclusion nor omission of information in the 
summary is intended to affect the legal status of the petition or its 
final disposition.

Petition for Exemption

    Docket No.: FAA-2024-0960.
    Petitioner: Delta Air Lines, Inc.
    Section of 14 CFR Affected: Sec.  121.621(a)(1).
    Description of Relief Sought: Petitioner requests an exemption from 
Sec.  121.621(a)(1) to allow the petitioner to modify the existing 
weather requirements for operating without a destination alternate to 
at least a 1,000-foot ceiling and at least 3 statue mile visibility. 
The requested exemption would apply to flights scheduled for less than 
six hours.
