The petitioner requested that the NRC revise its regulations regarding the criteria for patient release after the administration of radioactive iodine. The NRC docketed the petition on January 24, 2020 (Docket No. PRM-35-21). On May 22, 2020, the petitioner submitted a request to withdraw his petition (ADAMS Accession No. ML20143A159) given the COVID-19 public health emergency.
