Proposed Collection; Comment Request

AGENCY: Defense Logistics Agency, DoD.

ACTION: Information collection notice.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the 
Defense Logistics Agency announces a proposed public information 
collection and seeks public comment on the provisions thereof. Comments 
are invited on: Whether the proposed collection of information is 
necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, 
including whether the information shall have practical utility; the 
accuracy of the agency's estimate of the burden of the proposed 
information collection; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and 
clarity of the information to be collected; and ways to minimize the 
burden of the information collection on respondents, including through 
the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of 
information technology.

DATES: Consideration will be given to all comments received by October 
21, 2019.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
    Title; Associated Form; and OMB Number: DLA Climate Culture Survey; 
OMB Control Number 0704-0575.
    Needs and Uses: The information collection requirement is necessary 
to obtain and record the perceptions of DLA employees regarding the 
organizational culture and climate. The DLA Culture/Climate Survey 
standardizes how organizational culture/climate is measured across the 
DLA enterprise, focuses leadership attention on culture/climate, and 
drives actions to improve the overall culture/climate and DLA 
organizational performance.
    Affected Public: Individuals or Households.
    Annual Burden Hours: 645.
    Number of Respondents: 860.
    Responses per Respondent: 1.
    Annual Responses: 860.
    Average Burden per Response: 45 minutes.
    Frequency: Biennially.
    Respondents are Foreign Nationals employed by DLA (and thereby 
considered members of the public). The DLA Culture/Climate Survey 
provides a confidential mechanism for employees to share feedback on 
their work environment, resulting in opportunities for DLA employees 
and leaders to engage in thoughtful, data-driven discussions that lead 
to informed action and improve the DLA collective performance.
