Notice of Workshop: America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2018

    The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or Commission) staff 
will hold a workshop on April 4, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. (EDT) to 4:45 
p.m. (EDT) in the Commission Meeting Room at 888 First Street NE, 
Washington, DC 20426. The workshop will be open to the public, and all 
interested parties are invited to attend and participate. The workshop 
will be led by Commission staff, and may be attended by one or more 
Commissioners. The workshop will involve roundtable discussions by a 
number of panelists and moderated by Commission staff.
    The purpose of the workshop is to explore potential opportunities 
for development of closed-loop pumped storage projects at abandoned 
mine sites in compliance with section 3004 of the America's Water 
Infrastructure Act of 2018. An agenda for the workshop is attached to 
this notice. There will be time for audience questions and comments 
following each agenda discussion topic.
