Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (MAFMC); Public Meeting

AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Notice; public meeting.

SUMMARY: The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's (MAFMC's) Summer 
Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Monitoring Committee will hold a 
public meeting.

DATES: The meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 
10 a.m. through 3 p.m. See SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION for agenda 
details.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of this meeting is to review 
updated summer flounder stock assessment information and recommend 
revised 2019 and new 2020-21 commercial and recreational Annual Catch 
Limits (ACLs), Annual Catch Targets (ACTs), commercial quotas, and 
recreational harvest limits for summer flounder. The Committee will 
also recommend recreational management measures for summer flounder in 
2019, including either the use of conservation equivalency or coastwide 
recreational management measures to achieve but not exceed the revised 
2019 recreational harvest limit. A detailed agenda and background 
documents will be made available on the Council's website 
(www.mafmc.org) prior to the meeting.
