Dispositioning of Technical Specifications That Are Insufficient
To Ensure Plant Safety
AGENCY: Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
ACTION: Draft regulatory guide; reopening of comment period.

SUMMARY: On July 5, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
solicited comments on draft regulatory guide (DG), DG-1351,
``Dispositioning of Technical Specifications that are Insufficient to
Ensure Plant Safety.'' The public comment period was originally
scheduled to close on September 4, 2018. The NRC has decided to extend
the public comment period by 30 days to allow more time for members of
the public to develop and submit their comments.
DATES: The due date of comments requested in the document published on
July 5, 2018 (83 FR 31429), is being reopened. The NRC is reopening the
public comment period that had closed on September 4, 2018, to allow
more time for members of the public to develop and submit their
comments. Comments should be filed no later than

October 11, 2018. Comments received after this date will be considered,
if it is practical to do so, but the Commission is able to ensure
consideration only for comments received on or before this date.

was originally scheduled to close on September 4, 2018. The NRC
received a request from stakeholders to extend the public comment
period by 30 days. The NRC has agreed to the request and decided to
reopen the public comment period until October 11, 2018, to allow more
time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments.
