Definition of ``Waters of the United States'' Under the Clean
Water Act; Extension of Comment Period
AGENCIES: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Department of the Army,
Department of Defense; and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Proposed rule; Extension of Comment Period.

SUMMARY: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) are extending the comment period for
the proposed rule ``Definition of `Waters of the United States' Under
the Clean

Water Act'' published on April 21, 2014 (79 FR 22188). The agencies are
extending the comment period in response to stakeholder requests for an
extension.
DATES: Comments must be received on or before October 20, 2014. The
comment period was originally scheduled to end on July 21, 2014.
