ACTION: Notice (extension of comment period). ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: The Draft EIS/EIR was released for public review on October 5, 1999. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a Notice of Availability for the DEIS/EIR in the Federal Register on October 15, 1999. As required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the EIS/EIR provided for a 45-day public review period. The public review period was from October 15, 1999 to November 29, 1999 according to the Federal Register Publication.
