[Declaration of Disaster #3218; Amendment #1]


State of South Carolina

    In accordance with a notice received from the Federal Emergency 
Management Agency dated September 28, 1999, the above-numbered 
Declaration is hereby amended to include Berkeley, Colleton, Marion, 
and Williamsburg Counties in the State of South Carolina as a disaster 
area due to damages caused by Hurricane Floyd beginning on September 
14, 1999 and continuing.
    In addition, applications for economic injury loans from small 
businesses located in the contiguous counties of Allendale, Bamberg, 
Beaufort, Clarendon, Florence, Hampton, Jasper, and Orangeburg in the 
State of South Carolina may be filed until the specified date at the 
previously designated location. Any counties contiguous to the above-
named primary counties and not listed herein have been previously 
declared.
    All other information remains the same, i.e., the deadline for 
filing applications for physical damage is November 19, 1999 and for 
economic injury the deadline is June 21, 2000.
