Abstract: The information collected on this survey, such as number of active aircraft by aircraft type, distribution of aircraft by state and FAA region, annual operations, airframe hours, engine hours, annual hours flown by day/night, and by weather conditions, fuel consumption, etc. is used by the FAA, NTSB, and other government agencies, the aviation industry, and others for safety assessment, planning forecasting, cost/benefit analysis, and to target areas for research. Estimated Annual Burden Hours: 4,875 burden hours annually at 15 minutes per respondent.
