The Department of Commence (DOC) has submitted to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for clearance the following proposal for
collection of information under the provisions of the Paperwork
Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).
Agency: National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Title: Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program Evaluation Pilot
Survey.
Agency Form Number: None.
OMB Approval Number: N/A.
Type of Request: New Collection.
Burden: 213 hours.
Number of Respondents: 850.
Avg. Hours Per Response: 15 minutes.
Needs and Uses: The Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program is
a nationwide network of services and support for smaller manufacturers
giving them access to new technologies, resources, and expertise. The
goal of the program is to improve the global competitiveness of U.S.
manufacturing establishments. This collection will measure the impact
of these centers on the nation's manufacturers.
Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit organizations.
Frequency: On occasion.
