Take notice that on June 18, 1999, Southern Natural Gas Company (Southern), tendered for filing a petition for a limited waiver of Section 14.1(b)(1) and (c)(1) of the General Terms and Conditions of its FERC Gas Tariff, Seventh Revised Volume No. 1. Southern requests the Commission to grant a limited waiver of Section 14.1 of the General Terms and Conditions of Southern's Tariff for cashout premiums incurred in May 1999. Southern states that copies of the filing have been mailed to all of the shippers and interested state commissions. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed on or before July 1, 1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
