Freshwater Crawfish Tail Meat From the People's Republic of 
China: Notice of Extension of Time Limits for Preliminary Results of 
New Shipper Antidumping Duty Administrative Review

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of extension of time limits for preliminary results of 
new shipper review.

The Applicable Statute

    Unless otherwise indicated, all citations to the Tariff Act of 
1930, as amended (the Act) are to the provisions effective January 1, 
1995, the effective date of the amendments made to the Act by the 
Uruguay Round Agreements Act. In addition, unless otherwise indicated, 
all citations to the Department's regulations are to 19 CFR part 351 
(1998).

Background

    On September 29, 1998, the Department of Commerce (the Department) 
received requests from Lianyungang Haiwang Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. 
and Qingdao Rirong Foodstuff Co., Ltd. for a new shipper antidumping 
administrative review of freshwater crawfish tail meat from the 
People's Republic of China. On October 30, 1998, the Department 
initiated this new shipper review covering the period of March 26, 1997 
through August 31, 1998 (see 63 FR 59762 dated November 5, 1999).

Extension of Time Limits for Preliminary Results

    The Department has determined that it is not practicable to 
complete this review within the time limits mandated by section 
751(a)(2)(B) of the Act. Therefore, in accordance with that section, 
the Department is extending the time limits for the preliminary results 
to July 17, 1999. This extension of time limits is in accordance with 
section 751(a)(2)(B) of the Act.
