Notice of Meeting

AGENCY: Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug 
Control Policy.

ACTION: The Drug-Free Communities Advisory Commission; Notice of 
meeting.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committe Act, the 
first meeting of the Drug-Free Communities Advisory Commission will be 
held November 23, 1998 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. 
to 5:30 p.m. in the 5th floor conference room, The Office of National 
Drug Policy, 750 17th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. 20503.
    The purpose of the meeting is to make recommendations to the 
Director regarding the activities of the Program. The agenda will 
include a review of ethics issues for Advisory Commission members, 
introduction to the work of ONDCP, orientation to the Drug-Free 
Communities Act, and review of the role of Advisory Commission members 
in the morning. A review and discussion of the Drug-Free Communities 
grant program, training and technical assistance, and evaluation will 
be conducted in the afternoon.
