CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION
Privacy Act of 1974, Deletions of Systems of Records
AGENCY: Consumer Product Safety Commission.
ACTION: Notice.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY: The Consumer Product Safety Commission is deleting two
obsolete systems of records that were inadverdently left in place when
two new systems with the same system number were published.
EFFECTIVE DATE: August 11, 1998.
ADDRESSES: Comments should be mailed to the Office of the Secretary,
Consumer Product Safety Commission, Washington, DC 20207.
FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Joseph F. Rosenthal, Office of the
General Counsel, Consumer Product Safety Commission, Washington, DC.
20207, telephone 301-504-0980.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On June 2, 1997, at 62 FR 29714, the
Consumer Product Safety Commission published notice of four new systems
of records, including one designated as CPSC-7 and one designated as
CPSC-18 in the mistaken belief that two no longer active systems of
records with those same designations had been removed and their
designations reserved. Those systems, Employee Discrimination and
Investigation File--CPSC-7, and Job Applicant Files--CPSC-18, no longer
exist as Privacy Act systems of records.
Accordingly, Employee Discrimination and Investigation File--CPSC-
7, and Job Applicant Files--CPSC-18, are removed. This action does not
affect Enforcement and Investigation Files--CPSC-7, and Procurement
Integrity Records--CPSC-18, that were published on June 2, 1997 at 62
FR 29717.
Dated: August 5, 1998.
Sadye E. Dunn,
Secretary, Consumer Product Safety Commission.
