West Indigo Timber Sales and Other Projects, Siskiyou National 
Forest, Josephine County, Oregon

AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.

ACTION: Cancellation of an environmental impact statement.

SUMMARY: On March 18, 1991 a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an 
environmental impact statement (EIS) for the West Indigo Timber Sales 
and Other Projects on the Galice Ranger District of the Siskiyou 
National Forest was published in the Federal Register (56 FR 11404). A 
Notice of Availability for the draft EIS was published in the Federal 
Register on September 25, 1992 (57 FR 36704). The comment period on the 
draft EIS ended November 9, 1992. Forest Service has decided to cancel 
the environmental analysis process. There will be no EIS for this 
project at this time NOI is rescinded.
