Take notice that on July 30, 1998, Columbia Gulf Transmission Company (Columbia Gulf) tendered for filing its refund report in Docket No. RP97-52, et al., pursuant to Section 154.501(e) of the Commission's regulations. Columbia Gulf states that on June 5, 1998, Columbia Gulf made refunds pursuant to its General NGA Section 4 Rate Case Stipulation and Agreement in the referenced docket, which was approved by the Commission on April 29, 1998. See 83 FERC para. 61,094 (1998). The settlement was effective June 1, 1998. Pursuant to Section 154.501 of the Commission's regulations, the refunds include applicable interest through June 4, 1998. Parties who received refunds also received a schedule of the computation of the principal and interest amounts. Columbia Gulf states that copies of its filing have been mailed to affected customers and state commissions. [[Page 37365]] Any person desiring to protest the filing should file a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on or before July 13, 1998. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
