SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Authority This action is authorized under the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, Secs. 201B03, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 3721-23 (1994). Background Proposals are solicited for a national evaluation of the Rural Domestic Violence and Child Victimization Enforcement Grant Program, a discretionary program administered by the Office of Justice Programs, Violence Against Women Grants Office. One national evaluation grant of up to $375,000 will be awarded in FY98, with supplemental funding of up to $325,000 for subsequent years, for a total project funding level of up to $700,000. The duration of the national evaluation is up to 36 months with reports of evaluation results to be submitted annually.
