Mid Louisiana Gas Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

February 4, 1998.
    Take notice that on January 30, 1998, Mid Louisiana Gas Company 
(Mid Louisiana) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
Third Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets with an 
effective date of March 1, 1998:

    Mid Louisiana states that the purpose of the filing of the Revised 
Tariff Sheet(s) is to update its tariff to reflect recent changes in 
shared personnel and facilities.
    Pursuant to Section 154.7(a)(7) of the Commission's Regulations, 
Mid Louisiana respectfully requests waiver of any requirement of the 
Regulations in order to permit the tendered tariff sheet to become 
effective March 1, 1998, as submitted.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed in 
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room.
