Corman Railroad Co./Allentown Lines, Inc.--Acquisition and Operation Exemption--Consolidated Rail Corp. R.J. Corman Railroad Company/Allentown Lines, Inc. (RJCN), a Class III rail carrier, has filed a verified notice of exemption under 49 CFR 1150.41 to acquire and operate a total of approximately 2.76 miles of rail line owned by Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail), known as Cornwall Industrial Track, between milepost 0.9 and milepost 3.66 in Lebanon County, PA. RJCN will also acquire a 0.6-mile segment of Conrail's Lebanon Industrial Track between approximately milepost 18 and approximately milepost 18.6, which is parallel and adjacent to a portion of the Cornwall Industrial Track.\1\ The transaction was expected to be consummated on or soon after September 30, 1997. If the notice contains false or misleading information, the exemption is void ab initio. Petitions to revoke the exemption under 49 U.S.C. 10502(d) may be filed at any time. The filing of a petition to revoke will not automatically stay the transaction.
