Take notice that on September 8, 1997, Kern River Gas Transmission (Kern River) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, to become effective October 1, 1997: Ninth Revised Sheet No. 5 Sub. Eighth Revised Sheet No. 6 Ninth Revised Sheet No. 6 Kern River states that the purpose of this filing is to update Kern River's Tariff to reflect the Commission approved Annual Charge Adjustment surcharge of $.0021 per Dth to be effective for the twelve- month period beginning October 1, 1997 and to correct a clerical error on the Statement of Rates for interruptible transportation. Any person desiring to be heard or protest this filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations.
