Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Tariff 
Revisions To Reflect Cancellation of Third Party Provider Storage Swing 
Option Program

September 4, 1997.
    Take notice that on August 29, 1997, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company 
(Tennessee) tendered for filing proposed revised tariff sheets to be 
effective September 28, 1997, that reflect the cancellation of the 
third party provider (TPP) storage swing option (SSO) program set forth 
in Rate Schedule LMS-MA.
    Tennessee states that copies of this filing have been mailed to 
each of the parties that have intervened in the referenced proceeding.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Regulations. All such protests must be filed on or before 
September 11, 1997. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of this filing are 
on file with the Commission and available for public inspection in the 
Public Reference Room.
