Manpower Temporary Services Waynesville, NC; Notice of
Termination of Investigation

Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation
was initiated on August 4, 1997 in response to a worker petition which
was filed on July 18, 1997 on behalf of workers at the Manpower
Temporary Services, Waynesville, North Carolina. The notice will soon
be published in the Federal Register.
An active certification covering the workers of Dayco Products,
Incorporated including leased workers of Manpower Temporary Services,
Waynesville, North Carolina is already in effect (TA-W-32,981).
Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no
purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.

Signed in Washington, D.C. this 15th day of August, 1997.
Grant D. Beale,
Acting Director, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
