Type of Request: Revision of a currently approved collection. Burden: 315 hours. Avg. Hours Per Response: 20 minutes for Bluefin Tuna Statistical Document and 2 hours for validation authority. Needs and Uses: U.S. tuna dealers who import or export bluefin tuna are required to complete and transmit to the National Marine Fisheries Service a Bluefin Tuna Statistical Document (BSD) as required by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic tunas (ICAAT). Foreign tuna deals who export to the United States must ensure that an original validated BSD accompanies imports. Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit organizations.
