AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Final rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission, at the request of Beatty Mountain Broadcasting
Company, allots Channel 262A to Beatty, NV, as the community's first
local aural transmission service. See 62 FR 3852, January 27, 1997.
Channel 262A can be allotted to Beatty in compliance with the
Commission's minimum distance separation requirements without the
imposition of a site restriction, at coordinates 36-54-24 North
Latitude and 116-45-36 West Longitude. With this action, this
proceeding is terminated.
DATES: Effective August 25, 1997. The window period for filing
applications will open on August 25, 1997, and close on September 25,
1997.
