Take notice that on May 22, 1997, Maine Public Service Company (MPS) tendered for filing pursuant to Order No. 888-A MPS's Open Access Transmission Tariff compliance filing. This filing contains the changes reflected in the pro forma tariff attached to Order No. 888-A and certain minor changes that add back in MPS's tariff pro forma language. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, D.C. 20426 in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214).
