Notice of Reestablishment of the Advisory Committee of the USAID 
Malaria Vaccine Development Program

SUMMARY: The Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International 
Development (USAID) has determined that reestablishment of the Advisory 
Committee on the Malaria Vaccine Development Program for a two year 
period, beginning in May 1997, is necessary and in the public interest. 
The Advisory Committee performs necessary and important functions in 
connection with the formulation of USAID research policy and in 
evaluating and providing necessary advice concerning the progress and 
future potential of Agency-funded research activities.
