Quivira Mining Company (License Amendment) The hearing, if granted, will be conducted pursuant to 10 CFR Subpart L of the Commission's Regulations, ``Informal Hearing Procedures for Adjudications in Materials and Operator Licensing Proceedings.'' This proceeding concerns a request for hearing submitted by Envirocare of Utah, Inc. on the amendment to the Source Material License SUA-1473 of Quivira Mining Company. The license amendment would allow Quivira Mining to accept 11e.(2) material for disposal at its Ambrosia Lake uranium mill and tailings site located near Grants, New Mexico. The Presiding Officer in this proceeding is Administrative Judge Charles Bechhoefer. Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.722, Administrative Judge Peter S. Lam has been appointed to assist the Presiding Officer in taking evidence and in preparing a suitable record for review.
