However, a State is exempt from the requirements to collect data if it did not, as of October 20, 1994, have a system in place for collecting that data. Eligible Applicants: State educational agencies. Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: May 16, 1997. Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: July 17, 1997. Applications Available: April 1, 1997. Available Funds: $300,000. Estimated Range of Awards: Up to $100,000. Estimated Number of Awards: 3. Note: The Department is not bound by any estimates in this notice.
