Take notice that on March 3, 1997, NorAm Gas Transmission Company (NGT) tendered for filing to become part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets to become effective April 1, 1997: Sixth Revised Sheet Nos. 5 and 6 NGT states that the revised tariff sheets are filed in compliance with the Stipulation and Agreement (Settlement) approved by Commission order in Docket No. RP91-49-004 on March 31, 1992. Arkla Energy Resources, a division of Arkla, Inc., 58 FERC para. 61,359 (1992). NGT's March 3, 1997 filing is its fifth annual filing pursuant to the Settlement, and it proposes to continue the currently effective rate for the CSC Charge as provided in the settlement, at $0.03 per MMBtu. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest the proposed tariff sheets should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rules 214 and 211 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.214, 385.211). All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
