Endangered and Threatened Species Permit Applications
AGENCY: Fish and Wildlife, Interior.
ACTION: Notice of permits issued.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that between January 1 and December 31,
1996, Region 1 of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the
following permits pursuant to section 10(a)(1)(A) of the Endangered
Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act) for take or interstate commerce
of endangered species for scientific purposes or to enhance the
propagation or survival of the affected species. Each permit was issued
only after it was determined that the application was submitted in good
faith, and was consistent with the Act and applicable regulations.
