Allied Brands Chemical Company Site; Notice of Proposed Purchaser 
Agreement

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency.

ACTION: Notice of Proposed Purchaser Agreement.

SUMMARY: Under Sec. 122(g) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, 
Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the United States 
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through this agreement the 
Settling Respondent agrees to pay to EPA the sum of $12,500.00 to 
provide specified rights of access to certain parties performing 
response actions in connection with the Site, and to ensure that 
certain deed restrictions are placed on the property. EPA will consider 
public comments on the proposed settlement for thirty (30) days. EPA 
may withdraw from or modify the proposed settlement should such 
comments disclose facts or considerations which indicate the proposed 
settlement is inappropriate, improper or inadequate. Copies of the 
proposed settlement are available from: Ms. Paula V. Batchelor, Waste 
Management Division, U.S. EPA, Region IV, 100 Alabma Street, SW., 
Atlanta, Georgia 30303, 404/562-8887.
    Written comments may be submitted to Ms. Batchelor within 30 
calendar days of the date of publication.
