    Take notice that Northeast Utilities Service Company (NUSCO) on 
November 25, 1996, submitted additional information on the First 
Amendment to the United Exchange Agreement between NUSCO, on behalf of 
The Connecticut Light and Power Company and Western Massachusetts 
Electric Company, and Boston Edison Company.
    NUSCO states that a copy of this filing has been mailed to Boston 
Edison.
    NUSCO requests that the First Amendment become effective on 
November 1, 1995.
    Comment date: December 16, 1996, in accordance with Standard 
Paragraph E at the end of this notice.
