Louisiana-Nevada Transit Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

November 29, 1996.
    Take notice that on November 25, 1996, Louisiana-Nevada Transit 
Company (LNT), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
Second Revised Volume No. 1, the tariff sheets listed in Appendix A to 
the filing, to be effective December 25, 1996.
    LNT states that it is filing the instant tariff sheets to comply 
with the Commission's Order No. 582 governing the form and composition 
of interstate natural gas pipeline tariffs.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Section 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests must be 
filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing 
are on file and available for public inspection in the Public Reference
