The Department of Labor (DOL) has submitted the following public
information collection requests (ICR) to the Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (Pub.L. 104-13, 44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). A copy of
each individual ICR, with applicable supporting documentation, may be

Description: All underground coal mine operators and certain
surface coal mine operators as designated by the Mine Safety and Health
Administration (MSHA) are required to collect and submit respirable
dust samples to MSHA for analysis. Pertinent information associated
with identifying and analyzing these samples is submitted on the dust
data cards that accompany the samples.
