Take notice that on October 1, 1996, National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation (National Fuel) submitted the pro forma tariff sheets to its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, to be effective April 1, 1997. National Fuel states that the filing is being made in compliance with Order No. 587, Standards for Business Practices of Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines, issued July 17, 1996, in Docket No. RM96-1. National Fuel states that it is serving copies of the filing upon its firm customers and interested state commissions. National Fuel states that copies are also being served on all interruptible customers as of the date of the filing. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
