Secondary Market Transactions on Interstate Natural Gas 
Pipelines, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of 
Application of Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation To 
Participate in Pilot Program

September 12, 1996.
    Take notice that on August 30, 1996, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line 
Corporation submitted for filing an application for authorization to be 
included in the Commission's proposed pilot program related to the 
Secondary Market Transactions on Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines 
rulemaking in Docket No. RM96-14-000.
    Any person desiring to comment on or to protest said application 
should file a petition to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice 
and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 395.214). All such comments, 
interventions and protest must be filed on or before October 4, 1996. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a petition to intervene. Copies of this application are on file 
with the Commission and are available for public inspection.
