SUMMARY: The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) hereby announces the
applications received during the 1996 fiscal year (FY) application
filing deadline for the Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant
Program.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: RUS is hereby publishing the names of the
organizations which applied for grants under 7 CFR Part 1703, Subpart
D, Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program.
These applications contained herein, submitted and postmarked on or
before the August 5, 1996 filing deadline, will be considered for
funding during FY 1996. The maximum amount awarded to any application
selected for FY 1996 will not exceed $350,000, as previously published
on June 27, 1996, at 61 FR 33639.
