AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.

ACTION: Final rule.

SUMMARY: This document allots FM Channel 228C3 to Lakeview, Arkansas, 
as that community's first local aural transmission service, in response 
to a petition for rule making filed by Dale Hendrix. See 60 FR 35372, 
July 7, 1995. With this action, the proceeding is terminated.

DATES: Effective October 7, 1996. The window period for filing 
applications will open on October 7, 1996, and close on November 7, 
1996.
