SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background The final regulations that are the subject of these corrections relate to the means of connection of data terminal equipment to the telephone network and to the on-hook impedance limitations for all types of terminal equipment. Need for Correction As published, the final regulations contain errors which may prove to be misleading and are in need of clarification. Sec. 68.312 [Corrected] 3. In Sec. 68.312, paragraph (b)(2), the reference to ``paragraph (a)(1)(v)'' is revised to read ``paragraph (b)(1)(v)''. 4. In Sec. 68.312, paragraph (c)(2), in the tenth sentence, the reference to ``paragraph (a)(2)'' is revised to read ``paragraph (b)(2)''. 5.
