Take notice that on January 16 1996, CNG Transmission Corporation (CNG) tendered for filing pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act, a notice of termination of gathering services currently being provided on specified uncertificated gathering lines. CNG states that the uncertificated lines are being abandoned in place or removed \1\ and that no contract for transportation service with CNG will be canceled or terminated. \1\ CNG indicates that the lines being abandoned either service wells owned by CNG that are being sold to D & G Operating Company and Mountain Reserves Inc. or, in the case of producer Peake Energy (Peake), serve only to transport gas produced by Peake which line is being sold to Peake. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C., 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.
