Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation Padre Island National 
Seashore Kenedy and Kleberg County, Notice of Availability of Plan of 
Operations and Environmental Assessment Continuing Operation of a 12-
inch Natural Gas Pipeline and Abandonment of a 4-inch Natural Gas 
Pipeline

    The National Park Service has received from Texas Eastern 
Transmission Corporation, a Unit of Panhandle Eastern Corporation, a 
Plan of Operations for the continuing operation of a 12-inch pipeline 
and the abandonment of a 4-inch pipeline within Padre Island National 
Seashore, Kenedy and Kleberg Counties, Texas.
    Pursuant to Sec. 9.52(b) of Title 36 of the Code of Federal 
Regulations, Part 9, Subpart B (36 CFR 9B), the Plan of Operations and 
Environmental Assessment are available for public review and comment 
for a period of 30 days from the publication date of this notice in the 
Office of the Superintendent, Padre Island National Seashore, 9405 
South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas. Copies of the 
documents are available from the Superintendent, Padre Island National 
Seashore, 9405 South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78418-
5597, and will be sent upon request.
