Take notice that on November 20, 1995, GPU Service Corporation (GPU), on behalf of Jersey Central Power & Light Company, Metropolitan Edison Company and Pennsylvania Electric Company (jointly referred to as the GPU Companies), filed a Service Agreement between GPU and Enron Power Marketing, Inc. (Enron) dated November 13, 1995. This Service Agreement specifies that Enron has agreed to the rates, terms and conditions of the GPU Companies' Energy Transmission Service Tariff accepted by the Commission on September 28, 1995 in Docket No. ER95- 791-000 and designated as FERC Electric Tariff, Original Volume No. 3. GPU requests a waiver of the Commission's notice requirements for good cause shown and an effective date of November 13, 1995 for the Service Agreement. GPU has served copies of the filing on regulatory agencies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and on Enron. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such motions or protests should be filed on or before December 29, 1995. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
