The following Applicant(s) have applied for a permit to conduct
certain activities with endangered species. This notice is provided
pursuant to Section 10(c) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as

Applicant: Mr. Andy G. Grubbs, San Marcos, Texas.
The Applicant requests a permit amendment to take the listed Texas
cave invertebrates from previously unknown locations in Texas, for the
purpose of scientific research, recovery actions, and survival of the
species as prescribed by Service recovery documents.

Applicant: Mr. Karl Stephan, Red Oak, Oklahoma.
The Applicant requests a permit to take the American burying beetle
(Nicrophorus americanus) at specified locations in Oklahoma, for the
purpose of scientific research, recovery actions, and survival of the
species as prescribed by Service recovery documents.

Applicant: Mr. Kenneth D. Heil, San Juan College, Farmington, New
Mexico.
The Applicant requests a permit to take several threatened and
endangered plant species within the San Juan Basin and drainages in
Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah, for the purposes of scientific
research and recovery actions, and survival of the species as
prescribed by Service recovery documents.

Colorado.
The Applicant requests a permit to take southwestern willow
flycatcher (Empidonax traillii extimus) and Mexican spotted owl (Strix
occidentalis lucida) north of Pecos, New Mexico, for the purpose of
scientific research and recovery actions, and survival of the species
as prescribed by Service recovery documents.

and Freedom of Information Act, by any party who submits a written
request for a copy of such documents to the above office within 30 days
