Travel and Tourism Advisory Board; Meeting

    Pursuant to section 10(a) (2) of the Federal Advisory Committee 
Act, 5 U.S.C. (App. 1976) notice is hereby given that the Travel and 
Tourism Advisory Board of the U.S. Department of Commerce will meet on 
July 13-14, 1995, at The Phoenician in Phoenix, Arizona. On July 13, 
the Advisory Board meeting will start at 2 pm and end at 5:30 pm. On 
July 14, the Board will reconvene at 9:00 am and the meeting will end 
at 12:00 noon.
    Established March 19, 1982, the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board 
consists of 15 members, representing the major segments of the travel 
and tourism industry and state tourism interests, and includes one 
member of a travel labor organization, a consumer advocate, an 
academician and a financial expert.
    Members advise the Secretary of Commerce on matters pertinent to 
the Department's responsibilities to accomplish the purpose of the 
International Travel Act, as amended, and provide guidance to the Under 
Secretary for Travel and Tourism.

    A very limited number of seats will be available to observers from 
the public and the press. To assure adequate seating, individuals 
intending to attend should notify the Committee Control Officer in 
advance. The public will be permitted to file written statements with 
the Committee before or after the public forum and meeting. To the 
extent time is available, the presentation of oral statements will be 
allowed.
