Notice of Intent To Issue a Prospectus for the Construction and 
Operation of Hotel and Related Facilities in Sequoia National Park

SUMMARY: The National Park Service is seeking to award a new concession 
contract for the construction of new visitor facilities and continued 
operation of certain existing facilities within Sequoia National Park, 
which is part of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The development to be constructed includes a 
414 room hotel, food service and other related commercial and support 
facilities. Extensive site preparation and infrastructure work have 
already been completed by the Government.

    Applications will be accepted for One Hundred and Twenty (120) days 
under the terms described in the Prospectus. The One Hundred and Twenty 
(120) day application period will begin with the release of the 
Prospectus, which will occur shortly after the publication of this 
notice.
