Notice Pursuant to the National Cooperative Research and 
Production Act of 1993--Interconnection Technology Research Institute 
(``ITRI'')

    Notice is hereby given that, on December 19, 1994, pursuant to 
Section 6(a) of the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 
1993, 15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (``the Act''), Interconnection Technology 
Research Institute (``ITRI''), for itself and on behalf of its members, 
has filed written notification simultaneously with the Attorney General 
and the Federal Trade Commission disclosing (1) the identities of the 
parties and (2) the nature and objectives of the venture. The 
notifications were filed for the purpose of invoking that Act's 
provisions limiting the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual 
damages under specified circumstances. Pursuant to Section 6(b) of the

activities include, but are not limited to, joint research projects by 
ITRI and its members to advance inter-connection technology for 
electronic circuits, which projects involve the education and training 
of, and exchange of information between, members of the electronic 
interconnection industry, government and academia to enable and 
facilitate innovative solutions to future requirements through the 
improvement of existing technology and development of advanced 
technology projects that also are environmentally responsible.
