Philips Lighting; Richmond, KY; Notice of Affirmative
Determination Regarding Application for Reconsideration

By applications dated November 21, 1994 and November 23, 1994, the
petitioners requested administrative reconsideration of the subject
petition for trade adjustment assistance (TAA). The notice of negative
determination was issued on November 14, 1994 and will soon be
published in the Federal Register.
The petitioners claim that Philips Lighting is importing miniature
and halogen lamps.

Conclusion

After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the prior
decision. The application is, therefore, granted.

Signed at Washington, D.C., this 16th of December, 1994.
Victor J. Trunzo,
Program Manager, Policy and Reemployment Services, Office of Trade
Adjustment Assistance.
